Our attorneys scored a major win for our client, in a case followed closely by the press, by securing a rare Surrogate’s Court order forcing DNA testing, for purposes of determining the paternal relationship of the deceased.
Our client had good reason to believe that they were a child of the deceased, a famous artist. We therefore pushed for comparative DNA testing between our client and a relative of the deceased, who fought vigorously to avoid court and the test. The Judge ultimately agreed with all of our arguments, and forced the relative to submit to testing.
